H.D. Swami Prakashanand Saraswati and the Spiritual Heritage of India
If you have ever had a fascination for the spiritual teachings of India, you may have been inspired by an intuitive feeling that India represents a Divine nucleus on this earth. Swami Prakashanand Saraswati teaches that the Divine origin and the very foundation of India's spiritual heritage is found in the Sanskrit scriptures. These sacred writings are not the words of a particular Saint, but are actually eternal Divine powers that were originally revealed on this earth 155 trillion years ago by God Himself.
A Sanskrit verse says, "Through bhakti (divine-love-consciousness) God is visualized, God is known, you can merge in God, and you can see God in His Divine personal form." All scriptural knowledge and all paths described in the Sanskrit scriptures culminate in divine-love-consciousness. Spiritual seekers who desire to find God must come to this awakening that divine-love-consciousness is the joining link between a soul and God.
His Divinity Swami Prakashanand Saraswati, our Shree Swamiji, teaches us how to develop divine-love-consciousness through meditation and devotional chanting. His talks clarify how to awaken the inner spark of Divinity and open the lotus of the heart to receive the eternal shower of God's Grace.
